Established in 2006, Compass Point Marketing began as a collaboration between two friends, Matt Ramsey and JD Hill, who were both avid sailors. Matt attended Point Loma Nazarene University for Marketing and Finance in San Diego. While JD to SMU and once had a Advertising Agency. Yet the two wished to not “sell” advertising and marketing products but to give small and medium businesses direction through market research and planning. Hence the name Compass Point Marketing, the slogan “Get Pointed in the Right Direction” and our url of www.GetPointed.com evolved.
Currently Matt continues as President ensuring a company’s marketing plan, direction and purpose are given to every advertising campaign. Websites, SEO campaigns, Display advertising or other marketing items should all interrupt the viewer, engage the prospective lead, educate the possible prospect and convert the client through valid offers.
